RUSTY'S TACKLE SHACK grew out of my need to become a better angler. I needed one shop in my area where I could find all the tackle and plastics I used to compete successfully in local tournaments. So I began importing my own plastics direct from tackle manufacturers such as GAMBLER LURES.

The second service RUSTY'S provides is reel cleaning and repairs as I do this to my reels each season and I have some reels that are 20 years old and still function.

The next piece of the puzzle was better fishing rods, so I started building my own rods using North Fork Composites G.Loomis and Mudhole's MHX blanks. Now RUSTY'S has a full custom rod building service as well as rod repairs.
